Senior Proofreading Specialist at BairesDev

We are looking for a Senior Proofreading Specialist to join our team. The Proofreading team is responsible for translating, formatting, and editing resumes according to the company’s requirements. This professional will be responsible for gathering all the available and required information to elaborate a version of a candidate’s CV that both follows internal formatting rules and shows with enough detail the experience and abilities that particular clients are interested in.

What You Will Do:

- Gather and review information from different sources (CVs, LinkedIn, candidates, etc.)
- CV translation (primarily from Spanish to English).
- Follow and apply internal formatting rules.
- Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and word usage mistakes.
- Validate the accuracy of the information obtained by the recruiting team.
- Share detailed instructions on how to fill in the resume according to the job opening and the information obtained by the recruiting team.
- Maintain contact with candidates and other BairesDev departments to ensure that the formatting process is completed on time and in the proper format.

Here’s what we are looking for:

- 6+ months of experience in related positions (translation, editing, technical writing, or proofreading).
- Currently enrolled in the final year of a relevant university degree program (translation, proofreading, English literature).
- Attention to detail, as well as the ability to research and quickly comprehend unfamiliar concepts or topics
- Proficient in Word and Excel with intermediate knowledge.
- Previous experience in the IT market or knowledge of IT-related terminology (techs, tools, profiles, etc.) is a plus.
- Very high level of written and spoken English proficiency.
